Members share their expertise through links at this website, through pages of The CTEVH Journal, the annual Conference, and special workshops. Invaluable person-to-person contacts develop into friendships leading to exchange of information on techniques and resources.

Purposes
- To establish and delineate common transcribing procedures
- To coordinate the work of volunteer and career transcribers
- To promote acceptable practices and technology to enhance the total educational program for the visually impaired.
